The best way to get started is to make an appointment for a
consultation. If you are serious about a kitchen or bath
remodeling project, you will contract with Jacqueline Mead
Designs to create a design plan and order your cabinetry.
Part of the consultation process will include choosing a theme,
cabinet style, hardware accessories and finish. By using an
experienced certified kitchen and bath planner, you are assuring
a successful project from start to finish.
How long will it take to design my
project?
Depending on details, the planning process can take two weeks
to a month or more, depending on the size of your project.
When do I order the cabinets?
The cabinets are ordered by Jacqueline Mead Designs as soon
as a contract is signed and deposit is made. If your remodeling
project requires new flooring, countertops, appliances, etc., you
may begin remodeling at this time. Once cabinets are received,
it takes approximately 1-3 weeks to install.
Depending on the time of year, there is an 8-12 week lead time
from the time cabinets are ordered by Jacqueline Mead Designs
until they are shipped. These are custom pieces of furniture and
are made only for you, to your exact specifications.
